I recently purchased the Moyoko OG Detangle Brush from Takealot and was pleasantly surprised to receive a sample pack of the Keraxir Smoothing Shampoo and Conditioner. I tried it out immediately and fell in love with the scent. Being a very picky buyer and considering my 1a hair type (very fine and VERY straight hair), I was concerned that these products might be too “rich” for my hair causing it to be even more flat instead of volumized and bouncy. But upon rough drying, my hair felt amazing, and I decided to do some more research. I was toying between the Moroccan Oil volumizing products and the MK Keraxir range. The prices are pretty much on par and both are expensive! But I eventually decided to take the plunch on this product. My order arrived 2 days ago (on wash day unfortunately – so I couldn’t give it a try immediately) but used it this morning and OH BOY!… My hair is quite damaged from a perm last year (yeah, what us flat fine hair girlies will do for a bit of volume) and even though it’s pretty straight, the damage is quite obvious after just rough drying; resulting in having to use either a blowout brush or a hot tool to get it smooth and sily looking. Needless to say, I only rough dried it this morning and my hair is shiny and silky and ohh so bouncy, no need for a hot tool – no more damage!
